Water management is crucial for the existence and welfare of the Netherlands. The challenges from climate change require a transition in the way public and private institutions collaborate and an increased awareness of risks. In the presentation the challenges, tasks and preferred solutions for climate proof water management will be presented for discussion.
In this presentation Roderik van de Wal will explain the scientific background of the two-degree limit on global warming that was agreed upon in Paris in 2015.
